Message Had a '91 turbo NSX since 2014. Picked up this '05 early this year and spent a lot of time getting it sorted and dialed exactly how I wanted.

First time seeing it in person

Gutted interior, new sound system, wiring, Haltech etc...

Did a major rework of the cooling system

New fuel system

Custom Ohlins setup...can't believe how good this is. Z community needs this!

Swapped to an EFR 8474 and did a full retune on my dyno

It's a blast at this power level—super balanced and fun. One of my favorite cars I've driven at any price point.

Traction control dial-in

Basement storage

Some of the cars out with friends

GTR buttoned up and tuned... made just under 1K. Once you get used to the power its honestly kind of a boring car.

Still got my MKIV

More of the basement storage..

Worked on cloning Blitz Type 03s... quality came out great, fitment was meh. I'll revisit this later in the year.

Bulk car wash...game changer

Like this shot of the lambo

Good friend picked up a Scud. I'd driven a base 430 Spider and wasn't a fan—this thing is awesome. After Justin broke the trans we didn't get to drive it much this year.

Some of my other friends cars

Justin's 2J-swapped vert Z... terrified to actually push it. One of the only cars I've driven that legit scares me.

Been obsessed with Koenigseggs for years. Never thought I'd see one, much less drive one.

The engineering and presence were unlike anything I've been around. The driving experience itself was a huge letdown—muted, tame, and I didn't care for the driveline. Sounds crazy, but my buddy who drove it felt the same. Hopefully the drama between Steve and Christian dies down and their Jesko gets sorted so I can drive it this spring.

Surreal getting gas like normal in a car like this.

Picked up a used TT kit for the Lambo... oddly enough it turned out to be Stradman's old setup—the one he documented all the issues with on his channel. Should be interesting. Not aiming for crazy power. 600-800hp, keep the balance and fun. Maybe it's my middle age talking, but 1K+ on the street just feels overpowered and less fun.

And finally... my Z.

Been torn on what to do with this car for a couple years. I just don't enjoy driving or working on it anymore. Still think it looks amazing, but even at 670hp it feels dated—the driveline especially. Some of the engineering decisions drive me nuts.

Decided to see what shape the engine was in...

Solid across the board.

Rare pic of Justin actually working... he mostly just bitches about my OCD and complains about not having an Aventador.

Polar downpipes finally in to match the manifolds.

Decided to stop complaining about what I don't like and just fix it. I've been in Z's since '97.

Justin and I are developing an ecosystem of parts that will simplify and modernize the Z more than anything I've seen available. (He begrudgingly listens to my nonstop design ideas—and has made some great suggestions.)
Steep learning curve, but 3D scanning and printing have dramatically cut design time. Goal is a full prototype system on my Z with hard data to share by Q3.

This poor thing has been running 24/7. Another one on the way to help speed things up.
